Bosie
New York, USA
Bosie, located on LaGuardia Place in Greenwich Village, NYC, is a coffee shop, restaurant, bar and tea parlour. Bosie serves New French cuisine accompanied by wines and cocktails. Staying true to their tea-parlour roots, they are world-renowned for their afternoon tea service and pastries. With one of the largest selections of tea in the city – described by Town & Country as the “best tea parlour in New York City” – they must be doing something right! After 9 years on Morton Street, they moved to a much larger location, hiring Jordan as Executive Chef to further expand the food they offer. As an ideal destination for morning and afternoon tea, they are a favourite for special occasions like engagement parties and baby showers.
But Bosie isn’t only passionate about tea – they are also passionate about the environment and about ending poverty, shown through their partnership with the United-Nations-backed initiative Carbon Free Dining.
As a Carbon Free Dining Certified restaurant, all of Bosie’s customers are given the opportunity to plant a meaningful fruit tree in one of the world’s poorest communities – allowing them to be educated and to build an economy. Along with this, these trees also counterbalance the carbon put into the atmosphere from Bosie’s exquisite meals!
