Chapter 17
Hebden Bridge
Chapter 17 is a family-run restaurant and bar located in Hebden Bridge, England. Chapter 17 was created from a love for food and passion for hospitality, and this is definitely reflected through their diverse menu, catering to a range of tastes and dietary requirements.
At Chapter 17, they feel strongly about utilising local resources, and about equality & fairness when sourcing from further afield. The coffee they serve is deemed ‘fairer than Fairtrade’, their meat is sourced locally, their fish is responsibly caught, and their drinks come from smaller companies, to support smaller businesses like themselves.
Further showing their passion for ending poverty and for the environment, Chapter 17 have partnered with Carbon Free Dining – the United-Nations-Environment-backed initiative.
As a Carbon Free Dining Certified restaurant, all of Chapter 17s diners have the opportunity to plant a life-saving fruit tree in a third world community, providing food, shelter, education and a sustainable economy to some of the most deprived members of our population. Furthermore, these fruit trees counterbalance the carbon produced from Chapter 17s divine meals.
