Carbon Free Dining is powered by your diner’s determination to change the world which we live in! The way they do this is by contribution when paying their food bill in your restaurant. This contribution donation guarantees that a single life-changing fruit tree will be planted in the developing world.

As a Carbon Free Dining Certified Partner – before you can begin changing the world you must ensure that your ePOS is set up correctly!

• Each bill presented by your ePOS system must have contribution added automatically.
• The contribution should be labelled as “Carbon Free Dining”.
• The contribution must be set up as VAT-free.
• The contribution must be available to be optionally removed.
• A short explainer should be added to the bottom of your receipt – with wording along the lines of: “The optional contribution on your bill will plant a single fruit tree to counterbalance the Carbon Footprint and Food Waste of your meal whilst helping end developing world poverty.

• As the Carbon Free Dining on each bill is a VAT-free donation – it does not form part of your profit and loss.
• You may decide to create an ePOS rule which only adds Carbon Free Dining to bills above £30.
