Papa Ganoush, located in Whitley Bay, England, serving a range of food inspired by the methods and flavours of the Eastern Mediterranean. Founded as a street food stand by a father and son duo Tom and Tim in 2011, 7 years later, with the support of their customers and family, they opened a restaurant.

At Papa Ganoush, they pride themselves on serving an informal eating experience with a focus on small plates to share and solid fuel cooking. They also offer a variety of outside catering packages.

Along with their passion for great, authentic food, Papa Ganoush are also showing their passion for the environment through their partnership with Carbon Free Dining – the United-Nations-Environment-backed initiative.

As a Carbon Free Dining Certified restaurant, all of Papa Ganoush’s customers have the opportunity to plant a life-saving fruit tree in one of the world’s most impoverished communities. These fruit trees provide food, shelter, education and a new economy to some of the most deprived members of our population, while counterbalancing the carbon produced from Papa Ganoush’s marvellous dishes.
